Despite their difficulties, James emerged as a beacon of strength and responsibility. His mother’s penchant for partying left him to shoulder the burdens of the household, effectively becoming the man of the house at a remarkably young age. Though he didn’t venture outside to earn a living, James diligently took on the tasks of cooking, cleaning, and caring for his younger brothers, Louis and Bob.
