James was the oldest of three children. He was born in Arizona and moved to Los Angeles as a young child.
Jim had a gift for truly seeing people—those who often felt overlooked or judged. In his presence, they felt valued and important. As we prepared for his memorial, countless stories emerged of the quiet but profound impact he had, including the powerful influence he had on the founder of Every Body Deserves Love.
